Club Photography | Help With New 550EX

Hi guys having decided to specialise my learning in low-light photography (or nightclub/gig stuff) i have managed to get myself a few regular gigs doing stuff for dj's, bands and clubs. my setup has done me well but i just bought myself a 550ex (with stofen) and as its a whole new ball game using a flash i thought i would seek help.

can anyone with any experience in this area offer some websites to read or just general advice? my next opportunity to use the flashgun is actually a big gig for me in a high profile london club so i want to at least have a bit of an idea what im doin before i start.

for your info my setup is:

canon 10D
17-40L F4
50 F1.4
200L F2.8
550EX
Stofen Diffuser

I have a few weeks so any advice before the end of the month would be really appreciated

Its mainly for off shoe stuff but its full of great tips/advise. Im currently following steps off the site for my own cheap lighting rig but learning so much from the on-assignment part of the site. I hope it gives you plenty of ideas.
