Clutch and indicators? Am I spazzy?

I can't change the state of my indicators (on, off) if I am doing anything with the clutch lever - it just feels wrong. I have to wait until my clutch work is finished.

Does this make me spazzy? Or is this a common affliction?

You need to relax more, Using the clutch or the switches should just be a small flick & shouldn't get in the way of anything.

But think physics.

When I'm putting the clutch in, the only thing holding on to the left handlebar is my thumb.

If i then move my thumb over to the indicator .. NOTHING is holding on.

I can't pull the clutch in without 'pulling' on anything .. ie the handlebar!!

Does that make sense?

Keep the palm of your hand in contact with the bar. Tip your wrist up. As a new rider myself there's quite a lot to think about so I usually wait till I've finished manouvering and then cancel my indicators before changing up.

Im as BennyC, keep the bottom of my palm on the bars, and with shortys I usually only use 2 or 3 fingers anyway, it takes a split second to press the indicators off or change gear anyway so never seen this as an issue :p

what are these indicators you speak of? coppers have never heard of them i beleive as they never stop people for not indicating or indicating wrongly. that reminds me where is dangerous(themod) these days?

Indicators on the Mille are a nightmare, some stupid designer swapped the normal indicator and horn switch positions so it's very easy to beep the horn whilst stretching your thumb to the indicator switch, and I do find it difficult to reach the indicator whilst using the clutch. If there is one thing I want to change on the bike it's this.

Is that on a newer shape Mille? Mine were normal
