I'm trying to find a perfect case for building my mid-range system. I had decided on a CM 690, but saw the advanced version and then I saw the "Lite" version and now I'm confused as to which one is right for me. There's even a "Pure" one which I can't seem to understand, and then there's the NVIDIA Edition..
Obviously there is price differences and I'm trying to keep costs down, but I'm not cutting corners to avoid wasting my time and money by building a rig I'm unhappy with. So can anyone help me out here and give me an explanation on what the big differences are in all these versions? I checked reviews and I even checked the Coolmaster website and still can't properly figure it out. I'm specifically talking about the metals and materials and not the unnecessary drive bay on top (unnecessary for me) - is there any improvements in noise, cooling levels by these different versions?
Also my last side question is; is the CM 690 right for me? I'm trying to find a case focused on being minimalistic and spacey, but not massive like an 800D. I only plan to use no more than one drive bay and maybe, maybe two in the future if I ever needed one, so I don't need 8 or more. I don't quite understand the need for so many in these case designs. I do like the Define R2 or R3 (is it even out yet?), but I'm not so keen on the hard drive racks being so wobbly, could cause vibrations and extra noise, but am I being picky over such a minor thing?
Can anyone recommend me a case similar in these things?:
Thanks in advance. I hope someone out there has the same obsession with finding a perfect case.

Can anyone recommend me a case similar in these things?:
- Being large - Enough for large cards and watercooling parts to fit in and to never run out of room, but not too large.
- Being quiet - I don't need 10 fans or grills and many open parts to the case. I prefer to keep the sound inside as much as possible and also keep dust out at the same time.
- Being cool - Good materials to keep the case cool and proper ventilation within the case ensuring everything is kept nice and cool so I can upgrade my components and not have extra heat added by a bad case.
- Not really specific, but optional is having no ugly front with many drive bay slots. Something like the Define R2, just plain and simple.
