Just a quick question;

I have a spare 120mm kicking around so thought I'd stick it in the bottom of my case as an intake. However, there's a plastic cover on it and i was confused as to how to fan actually goes there. This is the cover in question (if that counts as a link to a competitor, please let know and I'll remove it)

So does the fan simply pop into that? Or are any screws required to get it into place? Thanks, and sorry if it seems obvious, I'm utterly useless when it comes to case modding. :D

To mount a fan on the fan filter you need too unscrew it 1st. The screws on the bottom of the case hold it on.

Once you have it off, you screw the fan too it, then screw it back into the case.

This is a pain in the posterior. It is a so-called tool-less design for a 140 mm fan, Its OK if your using that size fan, but Cool Master cocked it up because the 120 mm holes on the rear of the case are misaligned hence as Crowart says you have to take it off, and put it on again, to gain the benefit of the filter. Like you I had a spare 120 mm fan, I removed those blinking taps gaining better airflow and cable management.
