Hello,

I have a question, I have a CM 690 first version.

I'm upgrading soon to 8700k, currently on sandy/ivy (depending on what cpu comes and goes) bridge and a 120mm AIO. I'll need more cooling power so 240mm will be the way to go probably.

Do 240mm AIO systems fit in this case? I think the radiator will easily, but I fear there is to little space between the mainboard and the top for the fans, I can't tell visually for sure, but I fear it won't fit :(.

Anyone has the first version of this case and can confirm this?

I don't think the original 690 supports radiators without some modification. While the top does have 2x fan mounts, they are not tight against each other like when installed on 240mm radiator .. and side vents are staggered so won't align with radiator either.

Aye, I had to be creative and the top won't fit for now, but meh, buy a new case some day in the future.

Bit rubbish designers for not future proofing a case for their own bloody water cooling systems :(.
