Got the lite version. From what I can remember when buying, the differences are the lite version lacks the docking bay, vga cooler bracket, and either 1 or 2 pre-installed fans

The lite version lacks the docking bay, vga cooler bracket, and a 140mm front fan that also lights up. I have the Advanced and it also has a button to turn the front fan light on/off, not sure if the lite version has that.

It also has a SSD Adapter which I found useful and I found the HD dock useful to, but never used the vga cooler bracket.

cheers for the info guys, the vid is very helpful. Also from what i read on overclockers the lite can hold 2 top fans, where as the advanced only 1 top fan, is this a typo? Finally which case do you guys think i should go for? i dont realy need all the external docks as of yet.

Also the advanced is on THIS WEEK ONLY OFFER was £76.99 inc VAT £73.98 inc VAT

When I've had my case open their seems plenty of space for a second top fan, but not 100% sure if thier is any screw holes to screw 2nd fan to the top of the case. I will have to look later.

I see it's already been answered..lol

cheers guys, think i might splash out abit more and get the advanced version. sure the docking bays will come in at some point.

Thanks all

yeh i have been looking at the vipers, but i would like to fill all the fan slots but as stulid said i could get a better case, as those fans are expensive by the time ive filled all the slots, id need an extra 7 and only got 3 antec tricools 120mm that i could transfere from the old case so would still need 4 more fans. So im in a bit of a dilema as to what to do.

Do you really need to fill all 7 fan slots?

If you want a cheaper fan the Xilence Red Wing are good fans, not as good as the viper and the enermax. but if you want to fill your case up with fans and not spend a lot. Then these will be great and are very good for the money. You can get then for about £4 each if you google.

well i dont need to fill them all but i need to get the best cooling i can to keep my i7 930 @ 4GHz cool. The cooling in my antec 900 is good but i just have a clutter of wires collecting dust and messing the air flow up. which slots would you suggest i use in the 690?

I have 5 case fans in total, I would leave the 3 that come with the case where they are and add one to the side panel you take off to access your case, I used a 140mm there and the other on the floor of the case near the PSU.

If I have time later I will take some pictures of my case and show you how I have done it.

cheers woody, that would be a good help, i suppose filling all the slots would be over kill. id probs add another in the roof of the case too as i have the h50 attached to the back fan
