Hi all, first of all, my cooler has left the building, in the beginning, it was roughly 24 idle, 35 full load, which i thought was awesome, even with 2.6ghz it was at that constantly, but recently it shot up, from 24 at start, up to 78!!! in the middle of bf2142 and then idle at 54. The pump is broken, so my question is, would i be better to get a different w/c system , or perhaps you know how to fix it? - i think the contacts between the pump control at the top and the windings for the pump are broken, but i dont want to chance it, knowing that it would severely ruin my day if it burst and the water got to my components!

Maybe i could even buy another r80 and use the 2 rads and get a pair of 7900 and a northbridge block, but unsure as it could make the water even warmer!

They're not really made to be fixed. You should be able to pick one up for ~£50 which is pretty reasonable considering what you get.

I would either buy another one or get a 'real' water cooling system. But I had an R80 and 2 R120's and I thought they were great.
