Thinking of buying a CM Cosmos II and using a Corsair H100 while I look at a proper water cooling set up. I just a bit worried that if I mount the H100 in the top pulling air into the case, there will be five fans pulling air into the case (inc one 200mm fan) with only one 140mm fan getting rid of all the hot air. what do people think?
According to CoolerMaster even if I just wanted to add fans to the top of the case they should still be used to take air in. I just find it a bit strange usually there would be more fans removing hot air. like in my antec 1200.

Lots of fans blowing into a case is fine the increased pressure will just force it out of the mesh and grills + edges of the case, only issue is if you have everything pointing in it can stagnate air and impede flow. Should be fine in that beast though :)

No good going for the H100 then? would I be better off going for the H80 on the rear fan mount and then adding 3 fans on exhaust going out the top?

Hey mate I've just reviewed this case only recently. Hopefully my article and video might help:

COSMOS 2 Review

As smilertoo says it would probably be better to have them exhausting instead, any reason why you are going for the H100 over some of the high-end coolers like the Phanteks suggested or even the Alpenfohn K2/Silver Arrow/D14?

I have the D14 at the moment I just liked the idea of it looking really uncluttered and really open in the MB area. I see the error of my ways now lol. I'll keep it as it is I think now and put three fans up top on exhaust.
