Hello guys,

I've found an amazing deal for the CM Quick fire XTi with brown switches for 60€.

I know about the old one XT which was one of the most reccomended keyboards with Ducky, Ozone strike, Leopold and else good ones.

So, does anyone own it or know something more about it?

I only know CM doesn't build it up with Costar and so I guess it will be "cheaper" in a way, but no more.

It will be my first mechanical keyboard, but I don't have to look at the budget , so any suggestion will be appreciated

Thank you!

I've had two CM Mech keyboards and found them to be excellent quality. Personally I prefer the TKL ones though. I just wish they would do the cherry blacks again as I prefer them to the browns.

I've been using a CM Quickfire TK for over 4 years. Only issue was the mini B cable recently became unreliable so I swapped it for another. However previous to that I went through 3 or 4 Quickfire rapid keyboards which became all unusable within months due to cable failure.

Yes, I always thought the weak point on mine was the micro-USB cable connection. Which is why I am super extra careful when I move the keyboard around.

The XTI has the same cable arrangement. So I would recommend, with the provision that you would have to be careful not to snag the cable when moving the keyboard around.

Apart from that, I found the keyboard and build quality to be very good. Very heavy duty.
