Just looking for some advice really, I recently purchased a CM Storm Ultimate from OcUK and all is well with the keyboard except that some of the letters have an additional letter underneath them, which really ruins the look of the keyboard (see U, I & O below):

This is labelled as a UK layout keyboard and the keys don't match the pictures on OcUK website. Does anyone know if replacement keys are available that would just have the standard UK letters on?

I have had a Quickfire TK for nearly 2 years and never noticed those keys before. Obviously it doesn't bother me... and it certainly doesn't ruin the aesthetic

To the question at hand, the only things I can think of is picking up a parts/spares US version or replacing all the keys.

The pictures on OcUK's website aren't of the UK version (the give-away is the lack of £ sign), these keys are correct for the UK layout keyboard, however if they bother you that much then do like Disco_P says.

Thanks guys, the issue is mainly when using the keyboard at night due to the "bleed" from the extra characters below the vowels.

Irrespective of the pictures on the OcUK page, the Coolermaster website DOES show a UK layout and it does not have these additional characters. In fact, the picture on the box doesn't have these extra characters either.

Hey there,

Sorry I didn't pick this up sooner. However, rjkoneill brought this up with me. I have sent you replacement keycaps that I believe should be with you either earlier today or tomorrow. Based on the SN that you passed on to the OcUK team it looks like the keyboard was part of the crossover period of us phasing out the extra characters on the keyboard.

@everyone else - All CM keyboards should not have the extra characters on the UK layout, if they do, just drop me a trust message.

I think I'll survive, my keyboard seems to function correctly despite the extra runes on some of the keys. :D

Thanks :) I'll let you know when they arrive

I have been told about the missing 'A' key which is rather annoying. I have sent out a replacement one today, so hopefully it will be with you tomorrow. Apologies for the delay on this, but I was out of office for the end of last week.
