CM700 bought for £450 yet its now £1500

I bought a coolermaster CM700 full tower case 2 years ago for £450

Coolermaster then releases a 30th anniversary edition of the same case but in a different colour for £1500

why is it worth an extra grand. what am i missing here?

About £1000 by the looks of it.

There has always been a market for limited / bespoke products by companies and this being one of the, which CM seem able to capitalise by rehashing an existing product.

Worth it ? Absolutely not, but the same can be said for many limited edition products.

This case is obviously ridiculously over the top, the pricing is mental. Although I’m surprised there will be any for retail at this rate as every YouTuber seems to have one!

The case I really want to see come back is the CM201…
