CMD Prompt won't launch.

I first encountered this issue when I noticed the Heaven benchmark wouldn't load, I ended up opening command promoted and noticing it just flickers and doesn't launch. There is no threats on my system from what I can tell.

I did a repair through powershell and there were some corrupt files, this also now repeared, but still, won't launch?

Any idea what the issue could be?

Okay so update, I've done some searching and people put it down to a virus and a "sound mixer.exe" - I didn't have this specific .exe BUT another step to removing that .exe was in regedit removing an autorun entry in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor.

I've done this, but now on my user when I log in all I get is command promoted, I have to type explorer.exe and all seems fine, but it's a bit annoying this happens now.

Any ideas?
