Hi I am a noob by the way who tinkers with ancient tech!

I had problems with my home office PC, wouldn't recognise the on board geforce 9400 and occasional starting issues. No visible damage, I moved over to another work PC for a bit.

I tried lots of things and tried to update the bios etc....

I just noticed that the Cosmos battery had run down, it is flat, ordered a new one.

I am going to pop a cpu, ram and a HDD on the board and try to fire it up again.

My question is will the board still have a bios (after my tinkering) and if it didn't can I load a new one on?

I have usb, optical drives and I am a rookie. Any pointers would be welcome, thanks. :p

(Probably use beta Windows 8 to tinker with btw).

Here is the link for the board

Only the bios settings will have been lost. They'll simply be reset to defaults. Any changes you made previously will need to be redone. The bios itself will still be there :)
