I have changed the CMOS battery and checked if the BIOS reset's to defaults after the PC has no power and it still does. I've went through most of the BIOS settings and haven't found anything...

You mean you want to reset it or it keeps resetting?

Need to move a jumper on most boards to reset, dont forget to put it back though.:D

Edit : Disconnect the PSU to for 5 mins or so, if it is to reset the bios

I want to prevent the mobo from resetting, its annoying and even a small power cut resets my BIOS settings... :(

Sounds like the batt or you have the jumper on wrong pins.

Have a multimeter to check the Batt ?

Nope, But I need to buy one anyway's... BTW thanks for reminding! :D

Edit

If its near the CMOS battery than I would need to take the GPU out, not doing this today. I'll check it tomorrow...

The jumper switch is on 1+2pins, I've performed a clear CMOS following the process and after that updated the BIOS to 3603 which is the latest. I've a new CMOS battery and it still resets my BIOS settings to default... after a powercut

I changed my CPU to i5 3570K so only just remembered, when I was searching the forums and I saw my thread. haha :p
