cmos problem? confused...

Ok i have a problem with a pc(obviously).
Firstly i turned the pc on, it got to the log in and it turned off on me.
I then turned it on again and it displayed a message saying 'OC failure' which i red was to do with the CMOS battery.
I replaced the battery the next day and turned it on, now heres my problem once i turn it on it doesnt display nothing. It doesnt turn off after so long but there is no display...
Any suggestions?

It might be worth trying doing another CMOS by shorting the reset pins on the motherboard.

Was system overclocked at all?

nah wasnt touched what so ever how am i shorting

What motherboard are you using?

Double chek the manual for position on the motherboard, just use a screwdriver to short the pins together for a quick second.
