CMS for Intranet usage

Does anyone know of or can recomend a free CMS system to use for an intranet?

Something like phpbb but designed more for corporate intranet's?

phpbb isn't a CMS, it's a forum.

Try Mediawiki, Confluence and this Wikipedia page which lists a ton of CMS systems by type (free, commercial, enterprise etc)

I'd also suggest Microsoft Sharepoint Services which you can use for free with a Windows Server 2003 Licence, we use it on our Intranet.

We do have some servers which are 2003 however our webserver is just 2000, so dont think we can use sharepoint? can we?
