CNC, perspex case design.....

Thiis idea hasn't been scrapped. But getting it done is far to expensive and I can't find any freinds willing to do it.

However I have found that you can get router table and plunger style attachments for a dremel. And a supplier who can cut the panels to the right size. Biggest panel being £20. Although I haven't shopped around yet, so maybe able to get it cheaper.

However the dremel and attachment is likely to cost over a ton on it's own, so unless I can find an own brand version. i think it is on hold till June (bonus month)

Ordered a dremel. So now I just need to decide on final design and then get one of the side panels this month and see how the dremel works.

actually found some dark tint(black) :). dremel arrived but haven't got the router parts. Will have to wait till next payday now, after my chilli buying antics.

This looks perfect

that with some window tint applied on the inside and the dodge logo simply cut out of the tint. rather than getting anything cnc.

Just a shame I can;'t find that in anything thicker.

Think I've decide to go for a much wider case. but hopefully lower and shorter. 4 rads on the back panel, and cd drives coming out the other side panel. I's going to sit on the desk.

Right fiddled around with google sketch up a bit more.

Still going to be joined up like billytheimpalers awesome render and the red logo on the side, with the two drives above it, I put them on the wrong panel.

it's still massive But I can't see a way of shrinking it any more. Unless I remove one of the rads then I could mount the reservoirs where that rad would have been.

what's the performance between dual sli and triple sli?

Oh and the yellow thing is the hdds

managed to get it down to 620,500,400 (Depth, Height, width), Happy with the heigh and depth, only slightly bigger than my current case, which I could see a way of trimming the depth though.

Any thoughts, ideas or any obvious problems.

Plunge router attachment for the dremel just arrived. Payday on Friday. So got everything I need to buy the first few sheets and see what I've got myself into. As long as car does not need much work on it's MOT.
