Nope, afaik it's true, Vivendi have been chopping off their teams like a lumberjack in a forest.

I think we'll see a variation but not Scarface.

Doesn't bode well for the quality of the game it being cancelled, it's quite likely when it is released it will be no loss for the 360.

I'm not sure you can necessarily infer anything about the quality of the game, just from its next-gen release being cancelled.

I am still expecting it to be a mediocre Vice City rip-off anyway, but we'll see.

Not necessarily no, but it certainly is not a good indication. I wouldn't think there are too many reasons to cancel the game other than it the develompers knowing it wasn't going to turn out as they had hoped. Wouldn't surpise me if this resulted in a budget release for the PS2 and Xbox.

If they were confident they had a quality game they would release it on any system they could, it certainly has the name alone to sell copies. Unforunately the name wont be enough to sell at £50 a copy as it would be for the 360. We'll just have to wait and see tho.
