Thanks for all the replies... I will have a look at the suggestions. Serious Sam looks interesting. Its a shame its not a standard thing in most games.

farcry has a co-op mode if you get the mod for it from www.crymod.com
also i did not know this about the serious sam games having a co-op mode, looks like i will have to install them on these machines and try it out.
a co-op fps game would be brilliant fun to play.
people please keep posting more about these co-op fps games, doom3 was a shock where can i get co-op mod for it from?

Farcry coop is really buggy apparently, but i haven't tried it.
I wish someone would make a coop mod for Call of Duty 2 that would be awsome to the max

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter is great on co-op!! 
Make sure you get the latest patch though, otherwise the modes are very limited and there is an annoying "bug" where if the team leader pokes his head out from behind a wall and it gets shot off - the whole game ends!
Otherwise great fun with up to 4 people, especially in contact on Skype at the same time!
