We (girlfriend and myself) have a PS3 and Xbox 360, both with two controllers, and are looking for some good splitscreen games. We have a LEGO game and find it a bit fiddly (Indiana Jones Original Adventures) with the controls and not really that great overall. Resistance, Left4Dead and Left4Dead 2 are all getting a little boring now. Any ideas?

Splosion Man on 360 is fun, fairly challenging though.
Can you play gears split screen? i thought it was Live only.

Resident evil 5 is pretty good for split screen

Pixel Junk Monsters and Encore on the PSN my wifey seems to have very simple gaming tastes and she loves that tower defence game, we've clocked up a silly amount of hours on it together.
