Co-op Story Games

Hi guys,

I'm getting a bit bored of the usual big multiplayer games and have been trying to find some decent PC co-op story games. Will consider on Xbox One as well...

Any suggestions will be great?!?! :)

If you're into fairly comedic stories then there's Magicka 1 & 2 for some co-op fun.
The Trine series isn't a bad story game built into a co-op platformer.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime might be worth a look, it's a bit of an odd one and doesn't have amazing graphics but I rather enjoyed it.

If you're feeling creative and are a sci-fi fan, you can make-up your own story in Pulsar: Lost Colony.

I highly recommend Divinity Original Sin (linked above by Luggs), it's a fantastic story.
 
Might sound stupid, but I've enjoyed single player story games with my friend sat next to me helping provide input (Walking Dead, Life Is Strange etc.). So if you're not that bothered about both actually having a controller then I recommend that.

Otherwise, if you have two machines, I'm loving Destiny atm and on a single machine... maybe guacamelee.
 
Divinity Original Sin is outstanding. One of the best coop experiences I've ever had. Being able to have debates and arguments with your coop buddies character adds so much to the experience.
