I know I'm pretty sad, but I loved the karate kid films as a kid. Not sure what to make of this though as the actors are both in their fifties and not sure about the whole premise of it....Thoughts?

Yeah I'm not sure I understand the comedy bit, the films never took themselves seriously. But a comedy, not sure what that's going to mean.

Finished this last night and what a bolt from the blue. Took me completely by surprise, wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was.

While enjoyed it, I feel like they took the wrong direction with the last two episodes. I loved what they were doing with Johnny's character.

I felt the same about the last two episodes, good nostalgic fun though

Bits were over the top with the group fights, but still loved the season and looks

like Terry is back for the next season, feels like it could be a good conclusion if they can bring together elements from the third film alongside a finale with the all valley tournament. This season felt like good closure from kk2

I grew up on (Born in 1986) the OG Karate Kid films. Absolutely love them, could probably play each and every part I've watched them so many times

I absolutely love Cobra Kai to, however, I can't help thinking I love it because I was so into the KK films. Do people that were never into or watched the originals enjoy Cobra Kai?
Same, although I think they're a little OTT, it's the nostalgia links to the original films and actors that I enjoy. Otherwise I wouldn't watch it
