Yep, it's a label which has been invented for them by "activist/woke/progressive" types. The ones who are really keeping racial tension alive.

The same people who are trying to convince minorities that in every encounter they are being subject to racism and discrimination. Regardless of what actually happens or how they are actually treated.

Every white person is racist, every system has embedded racism, every organisation, every encounter has aspects of racism.

Teaching a whole swathe of society to believe they are both victimised and oppressed by ordinary, every-day people.

I'm sure it'll end well :p

Should defo include the BBC in with those people. Every time I turn on the TV they are advertising a programme "exploring racism and oppression and its consequences".

The implication being that there is racisms everywhere, or we wouldn't need constant programming about it. I don't think it's even slightly helpful.

And of course a lot of the "issues" originate in America, and nobody stops to think, "Well hold on, the UK and the US are a tiny bit different."

Your post reminded me of a show on the BBC that I think was about the lack of content regarding black peoples contribution to WW2 and how history was whitewashed.

I remember thinking to myself Instead of making show complaining about it and basically trying to make white people look like the bad GUY, surely it makes more sense to make an actual documentary detailing the achievements of the black soldiers during WW2.

Wouldn't that be killing multiple birds with one stone. Not sure if they ever did that in the end.

Edit: a more cynical person could say it has nothing to do with the contribution of black soldiers and is just an excuse to attack white people. Which would be a lose for both races.

It's already pretty well documented tbh. They were there. Didn't really do anything more than anyone else though.

I guess part of the problem is that the post below couldn't be anymore wrong in terms of timescales. I mean a cartoon movie was actively portraying how lesser citizens blacks were as recently as 1999. What were people thinking in 1999 to think that was in good taste, despite how low brow South Park actually is?

You know what I did in the 70-90's, I was born and grew from school to working and enjoying life, I did not think about gay/woke/trans ABCDEFGH....... alphabet soup mental illness crap every day or in fact any day, and fashion, music and movies were amazing and the girls were hotter. ;)

So you are saying you are the literal generation responsible for birthing and creating the environment where this is now being discussed as an issue. Good one.

We all* know how tolerant and progressive the 70's were, what with its football chanting at black players, Brixton, Toxteth and Moss Side riots.

Great deflection to bring more criticism to yourself and your heightened level of ignorance, fool.

I do not like or go to football and I am not in England so did not see much of the race stuff like some English cities.

At the end of the day I lived in a good time so I do not care TBH.

P.S I do not have kids so you are a woke fool grasping a straws and I can see setting you to ignore from now on as its better than listening to your tosh or getting banned for what I will say to you.

Another thing I worked voluntary when I left school before I got my job for 6 months with severely handicap, wiping their their asses etc and feeding them, what have you ever done for anyone for real?

How about you go and live in Africa and see how you get on or how long you keep your head on your shoulders.

I did that as summer job, can you not read as I then went on to a engineering job for 16years so again you are clutching at straw ands making assumptions.

Football fans will chant about anything,

If you're fat
If you're ginger
If you're slow
If you're tall
If you're small
If you have big hair
Or if you play like you don't care

They will chant. Good things if you play well, bad things if you don't.

Go abroad to virtually any other European countries and see how they treat African players, even now, from the stands, money chants, bananas thrown etc.

That doesn't legitimise what happens in the UK but honestly the overt racism in other countries is a real eye opener.
