Cocaine Cowboys Documentary

I just saw this documentary on More4 as part of their True Stories series. It has to be the best documentary I've seen. It's even better than the movie Scarface.

It tells the story of the drug trafficking that went on in the late 70's and early 80's in Miami, the Cuban and Columbian murders and how all that money was used to build the City into what it is today.

Well worth the watch.

Seen it a while back and yes it is real good, absolutely crazy money.

Cocaine Cowboys 2 is out there as well and while not as good as the first one is still well worth a watch as it kinda follows on from when that fat bird (name escapes me) gets put behind bars.

Yeah I watched this last night too was a cracking docu, suffering at work this morning though for being up till 2am

Cocaine Cowboys 2 is out there as well and while not as good as the first one is still well worth a watch.

DezUK, i came across one called Outlaw Bikers which is a documentary about Hells Angels trying to wipe out their rivals so they got complete control of the drug trade in the 80's and 90's.

Not seen it yet so i don't know if it's good or bad but it sounds like it could be on the same wavelength as Cocaine Cowboys.

yeah was just about to say cocaine cowboys reloaded has just been released (number 3) I have seen most or certainly many crime documentaries I would say you don't really get any better than this. the books are also superb (american desperado & killing pablo)

Kind of is. Sonny Barger backed the wrong team politically and basically set about the demise of the Hells Angels.
