COD 4 and Punkbsuter error

Hello,

Just tried playing COD 4 online (been working fine for the past few weeks) keep getting error,

kicked for "Losing Key Packets"

After about 2 mins when joining the server ?? happened on 2 servers i tried.

Anyone know a fix ?

It's your internet, not a game problem. Happens to me sometimes, but it goes usually. If it persists then try to update pb.

Maybe it was works internet like u said, its worked before though lol strange. hope it aint broke all the time i enjoy COD 4 at dinner !

Sometime you need to manually update your PB files from the evenbalance website.

If you're playing it through Steam, definitely go and manually update PB. It's the only way I can get it to work.

This has absoloutely nothing to do with losing key packets.. why whould you even have fraps on anyway? :confused:

Try /rate 25000

fixs your rate surprisingly enough - you will lose less key packets

yeah pb doesnt like fraps which is funny considering it meant to be used with games.
