COD 4 crashing

Only game on my PC that just crashes.

Someone said its Nvidia drivers, is this true?

Sometimes it plays for 5 mins, others for 10-15mins. Totally random.

Reset all my overclock to standard and it still crashes, so its not that.

I wiped my sound drivers (turned out the motherboard drivers were there as well) using a driver wiper (as you would) then reinstalled from the original disc (bought about a year and a half ago). Seems to be different for everybody.

Do you use rivatuner/ati tool etc? If so close them and ensure that all Punkbuster processes are closed then load the game

My mp will crash but the sp works fine for whatever reason. Try to load it i get a black screen and then just a crash with the folowing crap in the problems and solutions panel in vista cp:
