COD 4 Level 55

Noon all,

Went on a friends Steam account to play some TF2, afterwards went on COD4 that both him and me have. I loaded up the game and it said something along the lines of 'All your stats and emblems have been re-set'. I though that was just on his account so I logged off his and went back to mine, got exactly the same thing.

Is there anyway to get to level 55 without playing continuously? I really don't have the patience and wouldn't have ever gone on his COD 4 account if I knew this would have happened. Is there any legit way of doing this so I don't get banned off servers, I basically just want my AK74u, UAV Jammer and Dead Silence back.

For **** sake...

I tried to save my other folder from XP as I reinstalled Win7 and got the same message, I assumed it was because i've gone from XP to 7.

Oh just another quick question, is there any server that give ridiculous amounts of XP so say I get one kill it'll be like 100,000 XP?

Can't find the Activision folder anywhere though, using this video:

I'm guessing it'll be different as it's through Steam. Anyone care to help out?

I tend to swit from promod to hardcore but mostly play hardcore.

Anyway, followed the instructions exactly as stated here and it's not working. Anyone know what i'm doing wrong? Did the Steam version one.

Alright, here's what I did:

1. Started up COD4, changed the key to this one - DL2J8PY44Q22GE4888D2
2. Replaced the existing mpdata file with the one I downloaded from here.
3. Joined a server, it said the key code is already in use.
4. Replaced the above key with my genuine one.
5. Joined a server, still had only 3 pre-made classes and was level 1 0%.

I must be retarded here as i'm following the instructions as stated but it's still not working.

I have my server filter set to hardcore & mod and that's it. I'll try again later on, am I doing everything right though?

Still doesn't work...

Maybe they've patched it or something. Oh well never mind, i'll just start from scratch again.

God damn this game I tell thee.
