Cod 4 mouse sensitivity grrrrrrrr!

Ok ever since i got my microsoft habu mouse ive been having an absolute nightmare in COD4, my sensitivity is either all over the shop i.e i can do a full turn in about 1cm movement of the mouse, or its moving a pointer through treacle.

Has anyone else found the adjustment to a hyper sensitive mouse a nightmare? i can adjust sensitivity on the fly yet theres none of the settings which offer me a happy medium between reaction time and accuracy.

Heres hoping someone else has a simialr mouse and has a decent setup for cod4 they can share. For example how far is the sensitivity slider on the options menu in COD4 mines at 50%

I used to play at 800dpi on CS:S but after a few weeks i wnt upto 2000, now all mice that dont do that DPI seem too slow for me

Tryed adjusting the windows mouse settings sensitivity ?
Can't say I have the problem you have with my diamondback 3g @ 1800dpi, even if I do, I just adjust the sensitivity ingame with the razer software.

I think i suffer from the same problem as you with all Manufacturer drivers, it makes the mouse feel over accelerated.

Try using it minus the drivers as a "Standard HID-compliant mouse" i know it may sound a little wierd but it works for me

just use middle settings and adjust slowly.
