cod 4 online problem

Ive just started playing this online for the past few days and i was on it this afternoon but now ive just tried to join any game it now comes up with "awating connection" then under that it says something like " awaiting verifiction code" it then counts to 10 and says server timed out error. i hadnt updated it with the patches so i thought it might of been that so i put 1.4 & and 1.5 on & now i cant find any games in the server list.

Any ideas?

where did you buy it sure nobody could be online on the same cd key as you?

i bought about a month ago from tescos, in the options menu it allows you to verify the key and that says its fine. im sure on the main screen there was an "update button" right at the top before but now its gone, anyone confirm that?

im getting exactly the same problem today, it has worked fine up to know.

Mine was bought at Sainsburys.

Just done a quick google and found this im going to wait though before i alter any files, im not to keen on that.

mines fine now
