COD 4 online??

Yeh quite a lot aof people are including me, tried about 10 servers manged to get on one lol.

Yep getting it as well, only managed to get on one server so far.

Is anyone else consistantly getting "awaiting connection" then the 10 count and could not connect to server? ive joined maybe 1 mp game so far, the rest give me the countdown or "awaiting cd key validation" then times out.
Reminds me of CoD2, oh wait that was 'Awaiting connection 3 billion' not 10.

Yup, getting it a lot and sometimes not getting it all. Its just out, so what do you expect? Theres bount to be bugs galore. When has there every been a bug free game?

Shame cos CoD4 online is easily the best online shooter I've played since the initial WOW-Factor of BF2. Hopefully it'll be fixed ASAP.
In the mean time, as well as the /reconnect command mentioned above, it's worth bringing the console down and typing in /cl_connectionattempts 30. That will give you 30 seconds worth of connection time rather than the 10 the game is set to as standard. Not an ideal "fix" by any means, and it doesnt actually get rid of the connection problem but it should give you time to get into a few more games than you would normally.
