Went to go and play a bit of cod 4 earlier, upon loading the game up i discovered that all my payer profiles had vanished, i installed this game ages ago when i upgraded to windows 7, all my profiles had been backed up to an external hdd prior to reformatting and installing win 7, then installed again, last time i played it a few weeks ago everything was as it should be, but today all my player profiles are gone, seems a bit strange how theyve all just dissapeared.

My install order was
install game, create profile
copy profiles folder from usb hdd and overwrite the new one
patch to latest version
start game
This was a fair while ago but i was able to play fine on my saved profiles that i copied into the directory, i then stopped playing cod 4 for a long time, until today when everything was gone. But ive reinstalled the profiles saved on the usb hdd so back to lvl 55 again.
