COD 4 / Win 7 problems

Just got round to installing COD 4 on my Win 7 machine (64bit), but as soon as I load the game (single player) it goes to a black screen. I can't alt-ctrl-del or alt-tab and have to reset the computer. Has anyone else had this problem? :confused:

I've installed all the patches up to 1.7, I think this is still the latest still? I've also tried running it in compatibility mode (Vista SP2) and as administrator but still no luck.

Strangley multiplayer loads without any problems...

Any idea's?

What happens when you load multiplayer and select Single from the bottom of the menu?

Yeah tried that too, but get the same problem... :mad:

Fixed it. Turns out it was Comodo's Defense+ causing the problems. As soon as I disable it, it loads without any problems!
