Cod 5 - ATI X850 XT PE

Memory: 8 GB free hard-drive space, 512MB RAM (XP)/1GB RAM (Vista)
Graphics: Shader 3.0 or better, 256MB Nvidia GeForce 6600GT/ATI Radeon 1600XT or better



These are the min system specs, is anyone here running cod 5 on a card like mine. Cant understand why as its not exactly crap (bit old mind you)

X850 is not shader model 3.0 compliant.

Pick up a second hand 8800GT for about £60, COD 5 runs awesome on 1680x1050 with everything on high and 4xAA - atleast I didn't notice any slow down

Infact you can get a brand new one for £70 on OCUK with free delivery! Why the hell is the 9800GT £25 more? Its the same card surely :O

Like with all games that require a card that needs SM 3.0 it wont work with an X8** series, that is what made me sell my X800XTPE up, I wanted to play R6Vegas but could not so had to get an 8800GTS 640.

The 8800GT on OCUK is only 256MB and the 9800GT is 512MB which is essential at 1680*1050 and above.
