Hey guys,

Just today bought me a bright and shiney COD 5 server from efrag.

Can you guys recomend any mods and other server-ey based tools, commands and gizmos to help with the running? :D

Been playing Cod5 for a while now so thought why the hell not for the sake of £10 a month for a 20man. May add a few more on and get a clan going.

Been playing with the config, changing player health etc as that seemed off and the dog settings.

Also been playing with "CoD RconTool10" which seems a nice little tool to log the chat, chat ingame from windows and kick / ban people.

Map rotation : Seelow, Downfall, Dome, Airfield, Outskirts, Hangar, Cliffside.

No FF, 90% max hp, 0 score limit, 20min maptimer.

If anyone wanted a server to play on :P.
 
There are lots of mods for cod:w@w. I suppose the most common being ACE 5.2 (Additional Combat Effects) and AWE 5 (Additional War Effects). (http://www.flotserver.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6200)
Other mods include Heat Of Battle (http://heatofbattle.net/) or Promod Beta 1 (http://www.fileplay.net/file/4288/promod-beta-1). I think the author of Promod has stopped development of that one.

There are plenty of custom maps now - some stunners too. Depends which way you want to go. A good resource is http://www.mapmodnews.com/
 
It makes you play games and take shots more Carefully.


So you dont just run around shooting at any single pixal that flickers:p
 
Forgot to mention eXtreme mod, Open Warfare mod, CompetitionMod, Bolts-Only mod.. They're all on that website.

FF + no recon/airstrikes/dogs + no perks = win! Just you+brain power.

Oh and to the OP, what's up with that rotation?? Axe Dome and add the new maps ;)

Some of my friends stupidly bought the game on steam which has yet to release the patch so keeping the server at 1.3 till steam get off they lazy behind and crack on with the patching.

Not really looking for "addons" as much i meant more administrative stuff and server config adjustments.

Will be keeping it as a pure cod5 waw server.
