Giant bomb did a special podcast about it and it does sound as if Treyarch are trying to do some new things with the single player game. Mainly the branching story and strategy type missions but at this point I'm so burned out on brainless military shooters that I don't think I care.

i dont really care for cod at all any more but at least it looks like activision is trying to go in a diffrent direction with this one instead of the same **** all the time. I still wont buy it though

I considered buying today...since I found it "cheaper" (still £20+). I do not want to lose my skills to CoD which only requires mindless running around and shoot at anything.

CoD should be a Wii only game, its made by kids, for kids.
Unfortunately it will sell **** loads cos its CoD and for as long as this happens then they will continue to recycle the garbage year after year.
