Just to confirm... they've changed the unlock time now to 8AM tomorrow morning for Steam?
for those that pre ordered through steam yes
Tesco sent me an email saying my copy had shipped yesterday. But I've not had any other emails. I presume it's gone through ok.

but hopefully if you registered a retail key on steam you should be able to unlock at 11pm/midnight tonight

Mine didnt arrive today from Sh*pto despite it apparently being despatched on Friday via Recorded Delivery which should have been here Sat/Today at the latest

The whole system broke down apparently. So normally orders are charged on distpatch, which sends through the email. But they realised it wasn't working, so sent the games out on Friday and Saturday without payment. So as the emails of dispatch got sent on Sunday, I imagine they are now working their way through charging all the orders.

Hey guys, just thought I would post something I noticed on the steam page. The game says 'controller enabled'. Not that I would ever want to play an FPS with a controller but just something I noticed that might please a few people.

@shaye: have you refreshed the page since you pre-ordered?
Weird, they deleted the thread. It basically said that Australian RETAIL versions are live, but Australian steam preloads wont be live for another hours or something.
Looks like if you bought it off steam you have to wait until 8am, if you got retail you have to wait until midnight.

Are people still getting upset about steam unlocking several hours after retail? They have been doing this for years now.

Its not playable for anyone in UK right now except the lucky 1 or 2 who happened to be installing before they stopped the game by applying the region lockout. I preloaded this morning after my DVD came but by the time it had finished the game was displaying the same message as everyone else saying its not yet unlocked at all.
Australia & Pacific regions are working fine but rest of the world (you know the biggest PC gaming markets known to man
) have to wait until at least 8am tomorrow morning although some are guessing the retail keys like mine will unlock @ 1am like MW2 did but who knows 
Shockingly poor PR from Valve/Activision but there you go MW2 only sold around 2M copies to date on PC their focus is 360 as it sold over 10M copies despite PC as always being the only version worth buying ...........
