COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

O bloody great I get home excited to play it which for me is rare in a PC game and I cant even play my copy as steam is blocking me.

This is such rubbish I mean seriously why? If people have a legit copy early then unlock it.

CoD Black Ops install?

I have a older Pc that has plenty of power for CoD4 and MW2.... Black Ops uses the same game Engine so why the big leap in MinRequirments??? I Have a Amd 2.5Ghz dual core, 3 Gb 800Mhz Ram, and a x1950XT Vid card...It should install and run just fine I would think??? Please let me know what you guys think....I can always overclock the mobo and grfx card, as they have been stock and Ive got 75 - 135fps in the other CoDs at 1024x768....sry for hijakin:D

Incase anyone doesn't know, most sainsbury's are staying open for the midnight launch (shop list underneath video):

I just rang them asking how many copies they had and they said they don't have it in yet and they are getting an allocated number of copies which they don't know yet. Also, for my local store (Fallowfield) it will be released at the self service counters, i presume this will be the same for all stores. It should be priced at £34.99 PC and £39.99 all other major platforms.

One of the things I enjoyed most on MW2 was the Special Ops levels playing Co-op.
Anyone know if there is anything similar happening in Black Ops - Co-op play?

Noticed the failboat GAME shop online have changed the price back to 34.99 maybe the realised when no one bought it at 39.99 lol

I'm quite enjoying the moaning that these companies didn't deliver the game early :D

You know, just wait for the release day and play it :p

It's all relative, though. I got 700 hours out of MW2. If the game is really good I don't mind paying a high price tag. Of course if it's rubbish...

Think about what transient things £40 can disappear on: some groceries that won't last a week; a tank of petrol you could waste; a rubbish hand *** from some salty old tom...

my local sainsbury said that they are not stocking pc games at all - end of.

I got my dvd today, pretty impressed you can't preload from the disc. Shocking behaviour. Guess I'll have to wait til tomorrow. :-(

I agree. Especially when £40 in my case could go towards an upgrade for my pc - which it so desperately needs right now. Can't say that I am not eager to play it, because that's a lie - I do really want to play it - I really enjoyed MW2, but price is a bit off-putting.

Thing is though its not really worth waiting for it to come down in price, if its like the previous COD games it won't come down for a looooong time.

But mine only cost £24 to pre order from Tesco with a few discount codes.
