eh Infinityward had nothing to do with chargin for extra content. although ill be very unhappy if I have to start paying for an online service ive bought already really. Its not like it isnt going to sell around 15 million copies. also Im still annoyed at steam not unlocking my game on time

Nevermind Activision the whole COD series from number 2 onwards are just utter fail.

How this game sells like it does is seriously mind boggling. Im going to admit i bought COD4 and MW2 (played a whole 7 hours, hated it) but surely just getting the same game with some rubbish throw away 4 hour single player is getting a bit tiresome now?

Im totally burned on COD games now. You just know that Activision will milk this into the ground multiple times a year like Guitar hero. How come evrey other established game takes AT LEAST 24 months to build and add innovation yet we get a new COD every damn year? (Yes i know multiple devs la la la) I mean seriously how the hell can the makers create something unique with such little time.

It's funny because i agree.

Yet for some reason i have still pre ordered Black Ops. LOL.

And what do you expect in todays world of gaming? Its the same for football games. Games are not rapidly improving year by year. The fact the pc version now gets console ports means we have to wait for the consoles to upgrade.
 
Just watching the live stream of the launch - they clocked a girl in the queue and was basically staring at her with the camera for about a minute :p :D

Same but as above it didn't arrive. Hopefully it will be here in the next couple of days however I thought the whole idea of pre-ordering is that you get the game first, before it goes on sale at supermarkets etc.

It's lack of competition. The others in this thread that are bashing COD are in the minority, the truth is that MW2 was the fastest selling game of all time and it is likely that blackops will sell faster. Until BF3 or the next Crysis comes out the COD series will keep racking in sales.

CoD2 wasn't that good at all, CoD went downhill after regenerating health came in to play.

Still, they are fun games, when not filled with hackers.

I wonder what the differences will be between PC / Xbox versions? I'm starting to feel like the XBOX can't make graphics any better, it really need upgrading. That's why i'm looking at upgrading my PC. I never noticed before, but now I just purchased a 50" TV, it becomes really noticable that it's not so brilliant.
