my i7 920 @ 4.2 and 460 @ 900 core is really struggling with this game

i think its the 1GB Vram on the 460

according to fraps im getting a constant 120fps (changed max fps in the cfg file to 120)

but even then the game stutters like mad
going to reduce the texture settings and AA down to see if that helps

Played some zombies and it's pretty good

hmm it looks like @ 1680x1050 you cant use more than 4xAA or use textures higher than "normal" on a 460 1GB or the game will lag bad....

it does look better than MW2 but not that much better that a 460 1gb cant max it out at a low rez like 1680

Use msi afterburner to monitor memory usage in game, id have thought it should run pretty well on your spec.

well im impressed they fixed a lot of stuff from MW2

simple stuff like being able to turn music off and change the fov

seems to be stuttering on my machine tho when it should be able to handle it easily

You could turn the music ON/OFF in MW2 by renaming the 'miles' folder.

I find a lot my games run like ****e even when i have well over 60fps. All games nowadays are just shoddy ports. Im not talking about COD BO im talking about most games that get ported from the console.

Just had a few games of FFA. First impressions, it seems a lot more demanding on my system than MW2 which runs as smooth as silk at all times. This is smooth at times but can chug a bit as well.

Also this has the exact same bloody annoying bug as World at War does, where (on my system) it mutes the system sound every time I start the game and exit it! So I need to alt-tab and untick mute to get sound!

The music jingle for levelling up is lame compared to MW as well, could have been a bit more powerful!
