It's just teething problems (RE server slowdown) - hopefully within the next weeks it will be perfectly stable. Has anyone tried the playback feature yet? What are the new game types like?

ok was just about to play and steam recommended I defrag the game file, Jeeeeeeeeez 15 mins later im still not playing. I love steam but I have been annoyed with this whole release

Harder to please, I have seen all my console owning "gamers" on my facebook calling it awesome but they dont have a clue so ill make my own mind up when/if I actually get the chance to play it

Hows the recoil on MP? (Coming from SoF2, I kinda like recoil, as it sets you apart from the spray n prayers! ) Ive just decrypted the files and installed before heading off to work, so wont get to play for another 5hrs!

I come from Sof2 and then cod4 for 2 years. Its good, movement is smooth, much much better than mw2 movment. They just need to fix that freezing in the game now

Same here, for the first time ever, and i defrag my drives frequently!!!

(one of the most annoying things for me is the server browser.. OOOOOOOOMG it's so annoying, when all you want to do it join a server but the server list is loading every server!!!!!!!!

Still waiting on my copy but why o why do companies/developers get this so wrong every time?

Valve have it licked with source games so why doesnt COD just adopt their model seeing as its steamworks anyway

It like they intentionally make games and on the last day go "doh we need a server browser"

Played the multi for a few hours last night and I love it personally, bar the lag spikes which I'm sure will be ironed out. The weapons feel better, the maps are larger and it feels just like W@W which is a good thing!

Its still probably a damn sight more 'finished' than BC2 was on release.

Surely everyone knows its cool to release an unfinished game for a higher price than a finished one these days?

Any developments on how it runs? Early signs seemed to show it not run that well on medium spec'd PCs. I know my C2D 3Ghz/4Gb/1Gb 4870 are starting to age but hoped it would run the game at (near) full whack.

On my machine it stutters badly all over the place and freezes for 2-3 seconds every 20-30 seconds.
