This has to be one of the saddest comments ever, a typical fanboi comment that has utterly no thought, well he has no thought process what so ever.
 
Lots of good games have had performance bugs on release, they just end up getting fixed with a patch or something. But other than that does it seem like a good game gameplay wise compared to mw2 mp?
 
I wish ppl stop complaining about the graphics, gameplay is the main key. 15 lvl's on SP isn't that bad tbh 7hrs is better than the shockingly 3-4hr gameplay from MOH!

looking forward to playing this when i get this as an xmas pressie.

those are some early snaps of the single player. about 10 minutes in.
now to me those graphics dont look bad at all or am i the only one, lots of people bitching on steam about the graphics being crap lol

Think they look bloody great to be honest, but I doubt I will spend more than 5 Min's playing this SP, CoD no matter what people wanna whine about it, is aimed at the MP crowd, and thats where all the big FPS games will be aimed at soon.

At work for the moment should be back home around 2 hours then will give the game a run :) ...
 
no lag/suttering for me

however - does have the initial feel of a campers paradise in most of the maps - usual I've got a crap gun versus lvl 25 (i mean already?!?!?!?) players with scopes etc etc.

feels very run & gun again!!
 
All 1920x1200 16xAaA Max gfx. Yep it is 2010 & yep this is how bad it looks in many places! Cannot believe I just threw away £34.99 on this trash :eek: Hope this prevents others from doing the same:( even if the gameplay was amazing (its not BTW) the dated graphics are a big downer anyway. MP is actually worse or close to these :eek:

Yes but if the graphics performance is so poor that you have a widely varying framerate than that does impact on the playability. MW2 on the other hand runs perfectly at all times, it is one of the reasons it feels so good to play. You play it and never think about technical issues because there aren't any - you just get immersed in the game which is how any good game should be.
 
I've given the SP a go for about an hour. Very very meh so far - much of that is watching cutscenes or listening to in-game characters talking. Also (spoiler) it has the highly irritating Reznov character from World at War back again who I personally can't stand. (Anyway I didn't buy this for the SP, but nonetheless, a decent SP would be welcome.)

so what settings are you using?
have you maxed everything out.

Yep you got it thats what they are giving us here :( TBH in places it looks better but overall its pretty lacking & shocking for a 2010 PC big budget release :eek: Kane & Lynch2 called & want's its level back (I'm joking about how they almost 1:1 copy K&L2 level wise but K&L2 I though looked incredible this looks anything but!! & people were complaining about K&L2 graphics wait until they see/play this it will really bring out the erage :eek:

1680x1050, default settings, 4xAA. MW2 runs beautifully like that, it is a very un-demanding engine which runs great on a range of modest hardware. This runs adequately in SP and inadequately in MP. And when you think that MW2 must be doing more work on the CPU than Black Ops, because the clients are also doing the work of servers it makes it all the more baffling.

Source engine games like HL2 + Episodes, L4D1+2 even look better overall as they have a reasonable art design & decent shader FX this is just COD2 all over again with dated graphics :eek:
