Hey guys..

I have been playing CoD Blacks ops singleplayer for a few hours then had my break from it,so i turned off the pc...after the startup i am missing all the sounds and music from the game itself...
in the sound folder it says"BIK file" and can not be opened in any player installed on my pc...

what do i do in order to get all the sounds working again, please???

Strange.

If its through steam try to verify the integrity of the files, and defragment them (both these are through steam - right click I think and it gives more menue options)

Sure you'v got sound turned on?

Checked the game options, by chance they where turned off?

I just checked mine, I don't even have a 'sound' folder as far as I can see.

Are you sure the game hasn't just muted your sound as it does that for me every time I run it or exit it, and I have to un-mute it.

Looking for the sound files themselves and trying to play them in an external media player seems a bit odd if you don't mind me saying ;) Games will often use their own proprietary file formats which would prevent that from working in any case.

tried to change in game..have got two options..optical cable and ati HDMI output..clicking on and off every possible button and nothing...
even tried to uninstall the game...still no sound coming from my speakers...tried to my set my tv speakers as primary-still nothing!
guess il have to listen to st else:-)
thanks guys
