COD MFW2 hosting

I have a netgear DG834N with the 850 Dgteam firmware, the problem I have is when I'm picked to be the host other people lag
The pings are good but people are jumping all over the place, which is down to the router as I don't get this issue with the o2 box.
I have opened the ports on the router, enabled DMZ, NAT is on, etc, thing is I don't get this issue when using the netgear firmware,
but I don't really want to use as the Dgteam is much better is terms of features and DSL speed.

In the DGTeam firmware SPI Firewall->UDP Flood - either disable it or raise the limit a LOT. Should fix it. Someone on here told me about it but I can't remember who it was sorry. With the default settings it throttles MW2 packets with lots of players connected.

I used to just disable UPnP so the game never made me host.

Thank you that has worked, i set the slider bars to max for now will tweak them later, cheers.
