I've had the game since release & it was working fine until last night. I haven't installed any new Hard/Software
Now everytime I start the game, my PC will shut down without warning or peeping within 1 to 20min of playtime. That is both on single and multiplayer.
All other Steam games run fine without problems.

So far I've checked/tried:
Temps are fine CPU 50 C, GPU 75 C under load.
Reinstalled the game, reinstalled the Video drivers, windowed mode. Removed Overclock, reseated GPU & reconnected all power cables.

The only weird thing I noticed is that if I play with a resolution of 640 x 480 it works fine without any shut downs.

Any other ideas I could try ? Any help is greatly appreciated.

What power supply do you have? Try running furmark maxxed out and see if it does the same thing.

Complete shutdowns are usually good signs either a system cannot fully take an overclock, or the PSU is insufficient/failing.

Thanks for that Alexrose1uk
Furmark causes it to shutdown as well. again anywhere from 10 seconds to 5min into the stress test. sometimes the GPU goes up to 85 C and 100W

I have again tried it with and without overclock and it happens on both occations.

Had this when my PSU was on the way out, would reboot during some games and furmark especially. It was a reasonably rated 850W model (quad 25A 12v rails).

Week or so later it literally went BANG!

If the only way to get it to power back on after it has shut down, is by removing, and then replugging the kettle lead back in, then its the PSU, it can't supply enough power, so once its supplied all it can, it just shuts off.

Thanks everyone. It was indeed the PSU.
Has now been replaced with an Antec 850W TruePower PSU and all is working fine :D
