It uses the same engine as cod 4 ? probably slightly tweaked.

Very interesting reading there, glad I went for the 4870x2 when I did a while back now. Game is silky smooth already, think I'll stick the AA up a bit more after reading this

anyone know how CPU dependant it is? I only have a 4800X2 Athlon (with a 4850). It ran COD4 fine wondered if any new things in MW2 would affect it more?

just basically same as cod 4

unless you host the game where min is 2.5 dualcore .

Thanks for that, it is annoying sometimes, in articles like that, where they just seem to assume that everyone has a mega processor.

I've got a GTX260 but only a dual core processor (even though it's very overclocked). I'll only be running the game at 1024x768 (I play on a 17" CRT cos flat screen refresh rates in games make my brain bleed)

I hope I get good performance, a mate of mine says he actually gets BETTER performance in MW2 than the first game, surely not?!
