365games and cdkeys usually do good deals on PC games.

I would check these sites out first and see if they got MW3 and if not, look at simplygames, I have not used them before myself but I have been recommended by friends who says they have used this company before and had no issues

Is the only place to get the DLC on Steam? - I'm getting back into thus game but can't justify £11.99 EACH on 4 map packs

Last week there was a sale on Blops 2 Maps on Steam. Managed to get one of the map packs for £5.74 or something like that. They regularly put the DLC's for sale. Just put them in your steam wishlist.

Good idea, I didn't think of this. Is there a setting in Steam I can set to get email notifications if they go on sale?

If you add them to your wish list, you will get emailed when they are on sale.

Don't rely on that! Only ever had 1 email but picked up stuff on my wishlist when I've spotted it on sale.
