Got CoD Black Ops 2, and the Revolutions map-pack comes out today. Been told it's £40 if you buy it online and you get them all, but I've been told if I get the Elite package for a year I get all maps. Does this include the Revolutions pack too or would you have to pay extra for it as well as Elite?

The season pass includes all of the four (in total) map packs and costs 4000 msp. Its not £40 more like £30 - £35 but you can get a good deal on msp if you check hotukdeals a lot of the time.
If you buy the packs individually you pay 1200 msp per pack. Nothing to do with Elite as far as I'm aware.

Elite no longer has anything to do with map packs. Its a free service to look at your stats, nothing more.
There is the Season pass, which is all 4 of the Blops 2 map packs for 4000. The packs are 1200 points each. 1200 points is £11 ish from the online code retailers such as cheapxboxlivecodes.com
4200 points in comparison is £31 - vs £44 buying them separately.
But you'd have to buy all 4 map packs, otherwise you don't get the saving. There is no advantage to having the season pass other than the discount, and an exclusive player card in game which looks a bit pants.

I'll be buying the packs separately, £11 every few months is better than £30 in one go, there's no guarantee I'll even be playing this game in a few months time so for me to buy the season pass would be a total waste.
quite right mate. you wouldn't pay for a meal without seeing the menu first would you.
