Hi all,

is it me or is the COD - World At War Online Multiplayer not really that good.?

I think COD 4 is much much better...
 
Not much difference as far as gameplay goes. What are do you dislike? Obviously the guns and perks are not up to modern standards but that was obvious.

My friends and I have totally converted to WAW now. Great game apart from the glitching does my ****ing head in!

But his OP seems to imply there is an actual problem with the game itself, everyone knew there would be different maps/guns/perks etc, of course this is going to be A LOT different to COD4. But the layout, presentation, game types are exactly the same as COD4.
 
I don't find much difference betwen WaW and COD4, except the ******* glitching. Its inexcusable how Treyarch haven't fixed it yet. It seems people are finding them on most maps now, I've seen it on Castle, Roundhouse, Seelow and others.

I mostly play on hardcore so the weak 'pop guns' that people keep moaning about doesn't matter :)
 
The glitching is ridiculous, fortunately we only play HQ or capture the flag so usually win because of their players being "under" the map and not playing the game.

I don't think they'll ignore the problems, I'm sure an update will be out soon.
 
COD4 is much better in my opinion in terms of MP.

I got so fed up with crap respawn positions, glitches and underpowered weapons that I just went back to COD4.
 
To be fair CoD4 has terrible respawns too (the number of times I've been stuck in a spawn camp loop with the same sniper is silly). I have no idea why a simple line of sight spawning system (rather than enemy/team positioning) isn't used.
 
I love waw, the co-op and zombie mde are great.

Unfortunately the kak lag, weapons power, respawn and glitching make hard core the only mode worth playing and even that is becoming unbearable. Until they fix it I am finding cod4 the better option.

But its not like you've got an unfair advantage. Everyone else is using the same weapons.

I personally love WaW, but the only thing that ticks me off are the glitches.

+1 although the one thing that irritates me the more than anything is the super gymnastic ninja attack dogs, oh and waiting ages to respawn only to die almost instantly then repeat untill it sorts itself out.
 
I was really enjoying it, but like some of you, the spawning system drove me crazy. Im so fed up of spawning in the middle of enemies and getting gunned down or having enemies spawning behind me and killing me :/ That didnt seem to happen as much in COD4.

The lag seems worse on it too.
