Absolutely love this game, its brilliant. There have been a few frustrating parts so far (Playing on Vet), the D-Day beach was probably the worst for me so far - however I am now stuck and its starting to make me feel like giving up!

I'm on the Silo level (the part where you have to clear the buildings, I've just cleared out 'A' - which one is best to clear out next? 'F' or 'B' ? Any Tips?

Cheers :D

The clearing out the houses bit of CoD2 is possibly the hardest, most tedious part of the entire game. I did it in order, A, B, C and so on. Iirc after taking the first house, I then went back and took the Barn, and then the Post office.

Take your time with each house, because they're extremely well designed choke points on the second floor. D-Day was one of the easiest for me once I found a nice solid way of getting through it. My worst was the Caen maps - extremely fruastrating and lengthy.

Personally, I'd go for 'F'.

A few smoke grenades in the front of the building, let your men clear out downstairs and then you take upstairs and gives you a snipering position for 2 other houses.

I'm getting into house F without much of a problem using smoke, its just clearing out the upstairs which is a problem, Think i'll try some Burnout for tonight and try again tomorrow ;)

Is house F the one with the flags draped outside it? The central manor?
Thats the house I used to take but no matter what, I couldn't clear out the top floor, so I decided to leave it until last.

Yeah that's the one, I just kept running upstairs, then down quickly, then threw a few grenades up there to blow them out.

By the time I finally completed it, I got to REALLY hate the Comrade Sniper mission (where you have to hold off waves of German soldiers). For some reason, I just found that mission a lot harder than any of the others.

This is known to be the hardest part in the game, and it took me ages! The only tip is 'perserverance'.

I took the farm (first building), then the German HQ, then worked my way over the road into the Post Office, out of that into the building behind the German HQ, then the one next to that, then the Silo/Barn. Then you get to my favourite bit in the game :).

I'm currently hating that one too :)
I know I'll hate it even more when we have to hold off the hoardes of germans, right now I'm just hating the second half of the mission (up the ladder into the building after your first fun with a sniper rifle).

Finally did it after a couple of hours - your right 'perserverance' is the only option!

Now any tips for on top of the Silo?? :D

Done it, Suprisingly I found the Silo bit really easy, Clearing out of the houses is by far and away the most difficult section of this game so far.

Yep, I thought the Silo was easy, but clearing out the houses was the hardest part of the entire game. Infact, I struggled more getting down the ladder than I did sniping.

Also, on a side note, don't let people telling you Hill400 is hard scare you, I personally found it to be one of the easiest parts of the entire game.

LOL! - I have to agree about the ladder bit - I died first time by falling off it! :D

I'll try my best to get the game complete tonight, Can it be done from "The Crossroads" to the end in 2hrs?

Shoot the mortar crews? I still don't get why so many people struggled with this bit. Shoot them in the order they appear.

Ah, read your other post and you found that part easy too, good! :)
