COD2 Lt.Speirs' Realism Mod (v2)

I got this from somewhere, supposed to make cod2 a whole new game. Holy **** look at the 9101 d/ls. You get cookable grenades in this mod too.

You have to go over to cod files and get the latest Lt SPiers Realism mod, it totally changes the SP campaign, im on my 5th or 6th playthrough just now.
It adds more soldiers on both sides, increases the battle chatter making battles more chaotic, improves the accuracy/AI of the enemies and allied soldiers, adds tons more grenade/explosion/death sounds, and tons more cool stuff. Going back to the vanilla campaign after playing this feels bare and fairly sterile IMO

some people dont like it because it drastically drops the ammo you find in dropped guns, like only 1 or 2 bullets left in a KAR, but its a lot more realistic and means you spend quite a lot of time hiding behind cover with shells going off and bullets zinging past before really picking your shots and making them count

i hate it when i join a server and it has a nooby realism mod, or a crappy rifle only, i think it really ruins the game, but every one to their own i sopose.

Why are realism mods nooby?

There are some World War fanatics who like to play according to the history. How is that nooby? I guess u r one of them ppl who like to use heavy weapons, like on half life 2 where you can lanuch full scale nuclear bombs from grenade launchers.

no, im one of these people that like to play competetivly, and i dont like the game to keep changing, especially when i go onto a random public at night, most mods i come across really change the game too much, and most make the game too easy, such as the stupid servers with the dot's in the middle of the screen, i just feel people like to play a modded game becuase they suck at the original, aka too fast pace, so they make it slower, and less about aim, and reactions, and more about camping, and imo cod has too much camping as it is.
